Compose a public-source reference

Select a service, open the precise resource and record its details. The tool suggests service-specific fields and assembles a working reference; it does not query the portal or verify your entries.

A useful reference supports another check

Cite the precise page and version read. A portal title, search engine or access date does not replace the document date. Missing information stays missing; retain the uncertainty in your record.

Does this reference follow a bibliographic standard?

It is an explicit working reference, not a certified APA, ISO or legal format. Adapt it to the recipient’s rules while retaining identifier, version, passage and provenance.

Why retain different fields for each service?

A DOI identifies a research resource, a notice number an administrative publication and a scene identifier an acquisition. A reference should identify the object actually used.

Does the tool confirm that the source exists?

No. Open the resource and check title, author, dates, version and passage. Generated text reproduces your entries without looking them up.
