Check an association with RNA and JOAFE — method

An association may have an RNA identifier, a SIREN and multiple SIRETs. They identify different objects. A name search finds candidates but cannot establish identity.

  1. Define coverage

National RNA excludes the local regime in Moselle, Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin. For a missing result, check the registered office and competent register.

  2. Fix identifiers

Record RNA, registered name, office and purpose. Compare the entity with SIREN when available; use SIRET for an establishment. Keep former names.

  3. Read the timeline

In JOAFE, distinguish creation, amendment and dissolution. A notice records a dated event, not automatically the current association status.

  4. Choose the right file

RNA_waldec contains RNA-identified associations created or amended since 2009; RNA_import contains older associations unchanged since then. Record resource, release and filter.

An old notice

No. Keep both identifiers and document the link between registers.
